Day 29 - The Weight

1 pound loss - 8 pounds total

Obviously, I did come close to my weight loss goal this week.
I know I was eating a bit more at dinner, but my hope was that all the extra exercise would counteract that - NOT.
When I was 31 I could eat whatever I wanted as long as I did my 15-18 miles each week. Now, at 41, I can run till I drop, do P90X workouts and diet and still the weight stubbornly stays put. Damn. Getting older sucks.

That said, I'm happy about my running progress. Yes, I'm slow and I take breaks (the dogs require them) but...

No matter how slow you run it you're still faster than someone sitting on a couch.
